Downtown Palm Springs Restaurant Beats the Heat with Wine and Watermelon

Scorching temps are certainly upon us, and what better way to cool off than with a specialty cocktail?
At Rio Azul Mexican Bar & Grill in downtown Palm Springs, bartenders use only the freshest ingredients available, perfect for mixing cool summer-inspired drinks.
My new favorite combines two irresistible ingredients: watermelon and wine. The end result is crisp, refreshing, and hard to pass up:

I also tried the Paloma, a formidable concoction that melds tequila and grapefruit juice into an icy delight.
So next time you find yourself sweating it out downtown, step inside Rio Azul for a few sips that are sure to carry you away to cooler climes.

  1. First off I would like to say superb blog!
I had a quick question that I'd like to ask if you don't mind.
I was interested to know how you center yourself and clear your thoughts before writing.
I have had trouble clearing my thoughts in getting my ideas out.
I do take pleasure in writing however it just seems like
the first 10 to 15 minutes are generally lost simply just trying to figure
out how to begin. Any suggestions or tips? Many thanks!
